Rain Rain Rain....

Its raining heavily here.I struggled to reach my office this morning.Somehow managed to reach, half an hour late...
Reminded of this song....
"I feel the rain,I feel the rain
I feel its falling down on me....
......Its the HolyGhosts' rain falling down me..."
Praise Be to God!

True Worship....

Thats the picture of Mary anointing the Lord's feet....
This was the message in our fellowship this week .Very inspiring....How a true worship ought to be...
Luke-7
37And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
39Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
48And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Here we see Mary entering a very hostile environment. She was an unwelcomed guest there.Everyone else except Jesus had a fiery look on her.
A true woship ought to be like that.Mary never bothered about what people around were talking about .She was focussed on what she has to do.Her only desire was for the Lord.Manier times I have not given my hundred percent worship to my God,thats sad.
What does she do after washing Jesus's feet with tears ?...She breaks the alabaster box to anoint His feet.If at all she had opened the box she could have always closed it.She broke it.That is how our worship must be.A never ending love must always be there for Christ...And the house was filled with the sweet aroma...A true worshiper spreads his/her fragrance even after they leave the place.
I want to be such a woman,a true worshiper , who will survive all the mockeries yet live for His glory .

November - Month of Prayer

Month of Prayer

We ,the fellowship members of Aletheia have dedicated this month November as the month of prayer.
As we focus on doing CHRISTIME and WAKEUP CALL in the month of December we are praying and preparing ourselves for a greater move of God in these events.
Christime is an event that we host, that mainly unites the orphanages and ofcourse that unites those tiny wee little hearts to the heart of God.Children must know that they have a heavenly father who cares for them.We celebrate Christmas with them....We are coming up with a play and few more teams are joining us in staging some more events...
Wakeup Call is the camp that is coming up for each one of us in the fellowship and also for people from other places. It brings the people of God together for two days to relish His presence as one body....

I pray God's purpose will be fulfilled through these events...Amen.

Bearing Fruit....

John 15

1.I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2.Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3.Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4.Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5.I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6.If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

The scripture portion is very clear.Jesus is the true vine and God the father, the husbandman. We ought to remain with Jesus to bear much fruit for God .As long as we are with Jesus we are safe in His arms.I have despised His love .I have taken His mercy for granted. But still He waits on me.That is His Love, the Everlasting Love.

Isaiah-63

7 I will tell of the kindnesses of the LORD, the deeds for which he is to be praised,
according to all the LORD has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done
for the house of Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.

8 He said, "Surely they are my people, sons who will not be false to me";
and so he became their Savior.

9 In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them.
In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them
all the days of old.

10 Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit.

Here Isaiah Writes about God's Compassion .He says many kindnesses. His kindness cannot be defined in words.Though we fall many times God is so compassionate and loving to us .He has extended His grace upon us.How thankful we outght to be....His mercy and love are always there with His people.Pray for repenting spirit that will take away the rebellious spirit in us.

Jesus talks about bearing fruit in

Luke-13

6He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

How graceful is He!.He makes supplication for the sake of us.He has always been merciful upon us.Lets realize our state and come back to God.Let us be a fruit-bearing tree in our Father's Kingdom.

Jesus waits for you.

Hope this picture is clear. This is a handmade card which I made for Steve's birthday. It has got a lot of painting and few paper-cut works.Isn't that bride lovely? She seems to be waiting for her beloved.
Even I want to be such a bride waiting for my Lord to come and fetch me into the heavens forever .Oh that day is so glorious!!!!!!!!!
Have we kept our garments spotless? We need to be very prudent and keep ourselves always ready as the wise virgins were.Only then we can respond to Him IN TIME!!!

Who can find a virtuous woman?

Proverbs-31:10-31 says

"10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

A very beautiful passsage from the Bible.Women, think how noble we ought to be in the sight of God and in the sight of our husband.Have we won the trust of our husbands?

'She opens her mouth with wisdom'.Do we spend our time in gossip and vain arguments?

'.. in her tongue is the law of kindness.'Do we show kindness and gentleness towards our family and friends?

'she does not eat the bread of idleness' She is not idle and sluggish,it is said that she brings food from afar, she rises even when it is night to feed her household and her maidens. She helps the poor and needy. She spindles and makes fine clothing which she sells to the merchants. She buys a field and plants vineyard.See the role of a woman in a family. She is not destined to do be at home without any kind of exposure to the world ,she owns reponsibilities out in the world too. This shows how prudent we must be.

'she 'll do him good and not evil all the days of her life'-How beautiful it is to be bound to your husband's love! , whether they are good or bad, self-centred or sacrificial,we are bound to do good to him all the days of our life. That is possible only if we have that true and unconditional love,a selfless heart. That is what God wants from us.

'Her chrildren arise and call her blessed her husband also praises her'-Its a joy to be called blessed by our children and husband. I know it taxes our desires ,comforts and self-will manier times but sure in God's sight you 'll be a precious woman.
There are so much to share through this passage .Let me continue in the future posts.

What a wonderful moment to enter into His glory .This morning even as I was meditating in the presence of God ,I was just imagining me and Christ holding our hands and walking through the meadows through the green hills and valleys surrounded by the sweet aroma of the freshly bloomed flowers ,rivers flowing along gentle and calm. After all this is human perception of what heaven may look like, but I know for sure that it will be definitely much beyond human comprehension.A beautiful place that is prepared by my Father just for me.

And God spoke to me through the verse :

"...I go to prepare a place for you.John-14:2"

I was just lost in His presence completely thinking how precious I am in His eyes.Do we live a life worthy of His Love? Are we denying Him by our deeds and actions? This life on earth will just end in a wink.... Do we have the confidence that we 'll see our father any moment we die ? JUST THINK!!!!

How can we make it to the other shore?

Here is the scripture portion from Math-14 where Peter and other disciples board on a boat to reach the other shore...

"24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink,
he cried, saying, Lord, save me .
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret
. "

Are you afraid of the wind that is tossing your life? Just as you see in the passage above welcome Jesus into your life. When he comes into your life all the storms will calm down and surely you will reach the other shore safely....
