Rain Rain Rain....

Its raining heavily here.I struggled to reach my office this morning.Somehow managed to reach, half an hour late...
Reminded of this song....
"I feel the rain,I feel the rain
I feel its falling down on me....
......Its the HolyGhosts' rain falling down me..."
Praise Be to God!

True Worship....

Thats the picture of Mary anointing the Lord's feet....
This was the message in our fellowship this week .Very inspiring....How a true worship ought to be...
Luke-7
37And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
39Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
48And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Here we see Mary entering a very hostile environment. She was an unwelcomed guest there.Everyone else except Jesus had a fiery look on her.
A true woship ought to be like that.Mary never bothered about what people around were talking about .She was focussed on what she has to do.Her only desire was for the Lord.Manier times I have not given my hundred percent worship to my God,thats sad.
What does she do after washing Jesus's feet with tears ?...She breaks the alabaster box to anoint His feet.If at all she had opened the box she could have always closed it.She broke it.That is how our worship must be.A never ending love must always be there for Christ...And the house was filled with the sweet aroma...A true worshiper spreads his/her fragrance even after they leave the place.
I want to be such a woman,a true worshiper , who will survive all the mockeries yet live for His glory .

November - Month of Prayer

Month of Prayer

We ,the fellowship members of Aletheia have dedicated this month November as the month of prayer.
As we focus on doing CHRISTIME and WAKEUP CALL in the month of December we are praying and preparing ourselves for a greater move of God in these events.
Christime is an event that we host, that mainly unites the orphanages and ofcourse that unites those tiny wee little hearts to the heart of God.Children must know that they have a heavenly father who cares for them.We celebrate Christmas with them....We are coming up with a play and few more teams are joining us in staging some more events...
Wakeup Call is the camp that is coming up for each one of us in the fellowship and also for people from other places. It brings the people of God together for two days to relish His presence as one body....

I pray God's purpose will be fulfilled through these events...Amen.
